Pregnancy and Depression

Pregnancy and depression-we've all been there, and we've all needed to call on our sisters to help us get through it....it's what's known as the "baby blues"! Yes, this is a real thing, and it attacks you right when you are most vulnerable-during and after pregnancy. Men don't understand the multitude of pregnancy and depression, and that just sparks the insanity in us all. Not to worry, though, because your girls' understand, and we will help you get through it no matter how crazy you get! I personally have been ravished by the baby blues 4 times. What I mean by 4 times, is 4 pregnancies...because as we all know, the blues strike at any given time during a 9 month (okay, 40 weeks) and 6 month (you have to allow for ample time on the demolition of your emotions after the baby is born) stint of hormonal craze. This blog is designed with you in mind. Do keep in mind, I have been through this 4 times myself, so I'm kind of an expert. I will share my pregnancy stories, and I would love you to share yours as well, so others may read them and benefit. Pregnant women go through a lot of emotions, whether good or bad. Share your stories, we all deserve a laugh in the name of pregnancy! (We'll laugh because chances are, we know exactly how you felt when you were pregnant...now that we beat the depression, we can certainly have a little fun with the memory of it all. This blog will also have facts and resources for you to effectively get through the "baby blues!" Browse it, read it, love, and bookmark it! Share it with your friends, because that's what sisters are about...coming together and uniting when one has fallen (and the men just don't get it!)

Please use this blog for information, as well as laughter. The baby blues is a real thing that affects millions of woman a year. Depression before and after your baby is born can really take a toll on you. Use the resources I have collected to make sure you have a healthy handle on pregnancy and depression for yourself and your newborn baby.
